Community Meeting #1 is Complete!

Community Meeting #1 was held on December 7, 2017 at the Adult Community Center. The meeting included a brief presentation to provide participants with introduction to the project and an overview of the planning process. The meeting also included a poster board session with approximately 23 boards containing information about the project and the existing and future needs of the pedestrian, bicycle, transit, motor vehicle, and other transportation systems within the City. An on-line version of the presentation that included the same materials and offered the same opportunities to provide input was available on the project website (www.molallatsp.com) from December 7, 2017 through December 31st.

The input received at the in-person and on-line meetings helped to establish a comprehensive list of existing and future needs within the City. The next step in the planning process is to develop a list of potential solutions to address the needs, evaluate and prioritize the solutions, and develop a financially constrained list of projects (projects likely to be funded by the city over the next 20 year period), for inclusion in the TSP.

Community Meeting #2, which will be held in May 2018, will provide an opportunity for people to provide input on the financially constrained plan before it is incorporated into the TSP.

Stay Tuned!
