Joint Worksession

There will be a joint worksession with the Planning Commission and City Council to review and comment on the Draft TSP on Monday, February 6th at 5:30 pm.
After incorporating input from this meeting, the Draft TSP will move forward for adoption.

The final advisory committee meeting for The Dalles TSP Update will be held on Tuesday, January 24th. We will review the final draft of the TSP and the transit component.

Please join us for our continued discussion on how to improve transportation in The Dalles. At this meeting we will discuss how the alternatives were prioritized and get your input on the results of the prioritization. We will also review the draft cost-constrained alternative based on the prioritization process and available funding.
This meeting will be followed by a Public Meeting at 6:30 PM in the same location. Please invite your co-worked, friends, neighbors, and family to come and provide their input during the public open house.

Future 2035 forecast traffic conditions - We will discuss how the system is anticipated to operate in 20 years based on estimated employment and population growth, assuming no improvements to the existing system.
Alternatives Development - We will discuss existing and future transportation needs and identify alternatives to address those needs.
This meeting will be followed by a Public Meeting at 6:30 PM in the same location. Please invite your co-worked, friends, neighbors, and family to come and provide their input during that public open house.

The City of The Dalles is beginning the process of updating its Transportation System Plan (TSP) to guide the future of its transportation system. As part of this effort, an advisory committee consisting of public officials and interested stakeholders has been established to review the TSP development documents and provide feedback and direction to the consultant team.
