The team will present the feedback of the public on the alternative routes through Lynn and the trade-offs that come with them. The engagement of the community members over the course of the workshop is vital to determine the most viable option; which is the preferred route from Western Ave to Nahant Beach.
The results of the workshop will allow Kittelson to answer the following questions:
- Which route(s) have support and why?
- What trade-offs weigh heavy for the community?
- On which are people willing to trade for safe walking and biking facilities?

On Tuesday November 13 the Project Team will introduce the second and final Community Workshop for the Lynn Walking and Bicycling Network Plan.
The outcomes of Workshop #1 will be discussed and the routes that followed from the feedback the community provided. These alternative routes are further discussed. What trade-offs are required to get biking facilities in Lynn?
Ask questions about what streets are considered. What are the trade-offs? How much on-street parking has to go? What kind of facilities can fit? Are safe crosswalks included?

In addition to the public events, Lynn business owners are invited to attend a specific stakeholders meeting this Wednesday, August 22nd at 3pm at the Lynn Tech Fieldhouse.
The topic of the meeting includes “the benefits of multimodal transit for your business.”
